Follow the Profit

In May of 2021, I took over as head producer of Follow the Profit, a financial literacy podcast focused on politics and business. Rebuilding from the bottom up, I had a vision: conversational, youthful, with a strong social presence. With the implementation of a visual element, we saw fantastic results.

.Saw a 366% increase in downloads, from 2,549 in the month before my takeover, to 24,041 in my last month.
.Steadily grew the podcast viewership and audience base by up to 900% weekly.
.Grew social platform organically by over 273% using skills and outreach, and by 766% non organically with sustainable social analysis.
.Drove the podcast from uncharted to the #2 trending podcast in the Business category in the United States.

Stranger In The House

I joined the Boy Wonder Productions team to co-create the Stranger in the House podcast, a podcast about crimes that occur in the place where you are supposed to feel the safest: in your home.

Built the brand for Stranger in the House podcast from the ground up with one other team member, leading to the acquisition of the podcast by Work Horse Media. 

  • Researched and analyzed 20 homicide cases for the development of the podcast. 

  • Condensed research into succinct 15-30 page written portfolios for scripting. 

  • Performed background checks, interviewed criminals and victims, analyzed hundreds of court filings, and sourced previously unknown and unpublished information for investigations. 

  • Researched and gathered case files for over 40 pitches for pilot TV shows and podcasts.

  • Worked closely with the development team to originate fresh ideas in the true crime field to present to major networks including but not limited to: Oxygen, Investigation Discovery, A&E, Netflix, Tubi, and Peacock.
